THE SUNDAY TIMES ENRAGED GREEKS BECAUSE IT WAS WRITTEN ‘’NEAR THE BORDER WITH MACEDONIA’’

"Amphipolis is located near the border with Macedonia," is the sentence published by British newspaper "The Sunday Times" that sparked angry reactions in the Greek media.

The Sunday Times once again wants to teach us "modern" Geography for the Balkans, - Greek media. Provocation, foul play, ignorance ... are words with which Greek media react to this article, and do not forget to add that "British expedition before sixty years was stealing from Amphipolis."

"Proto Thema" wrote that that was nonsense. "The text of the famous journalist Anti Karasava caused outrage in Greece. Correspondent from Athens for historic British newspaper writes that the great tomb is located 603 kilometers from Athens and near the border with Macedonia, - Parapolitika newspaper".

Greek media reported that this is not her first time to use the constitutional name of Macedonia.
